To celebrate International Female Ride Day, the women motorcycle club the Motor Maids from the United States are meeting up with their Canadian Motor Maid sisters. They will meet at the borders of Calais, Maine and St. Stephen, New Brunswick to hold an International Flag Exchange in honour of International Female Ride Day.
If you happen to live near to or can make it to the rendez vous location, the Motor Maids will certainly enjoy your participation.
The Motor Maids known as the first motorcycle club in the United states exclusively for women riders, were officially formed in 1940. The Motor Maids, Inc. established itself as a women’s motorcycling organization in North America. It is the first and oldest continuously operated women’s motorcycling organization.
With approximately 1,200 members across the United States and Canada, the club is comprised of a diverse group of women motorcyclists united through a passion for riding while fostering a positive image and promoting safe riding skills.
Each year we receive photographs submitted from Motor Maid members and how they participated in International Female Ride Day.
