In 2011 the first Friday in May which lands on May 6, has been designated International Female Ride Day. By riding on this day, women around the world are working together to build awareness of the growing number of female enthusiasts and demonstrate the camaraderie and diversity of women who enjoy the sport of motorcycling. The Heartland Chapter of WOW – Women on Wheels are gearing up to participate!
Women (either as driver or passenger) are invited to celebrate International Female Ride Day with the Heartland Chapter of Women On Wheels® with a one-hour group ride leaving from Gateway Harley-Davidson, 3600 Lemay Ferry Road, at 6:00 p.m. Women On Wheels® is devoted to uniting all women motorcycle enthusiasts. All brands are welcome.
