Women riders from every continent will ignite their rides on Saturday 3 May 2025, for the 19th annual International Female Ride Day (IFRD) — a global synchronised ride that continues to break barriers, inspire new riders, and amplify the presence of women in powersports.
Since its inception in 2007, IFRD has been a force for change in the riding community. Each year, tens of thousands of women connect through synchronised rides, events, and solo journeys, united by their passion for motorcycles and powersports. From bustling urban centres to the most remote trails, IFRD is a visible reminder that women are a vital part of the motorcycling landscape.
This year’s hashtag theme, #IFRDHerPower, celebrates the strength, skill, independence, and passion that fuel women riders. It embodies the core values of IFRD and honours the never-ending spirit that keeps the throttle open for future generations
“International Female Ride Day is a powerful symbol of representation,” says Vicki Gray, founder of IFRD. “It’s a day when women riders from all walks of life and cultures come together to celebrate their shared passion and show the world that riding is for everyone. For 19 years, this has been a day women look forward to, a day where they play their part in a global movement that continues to inspire, empower and represent.”
IFRD is more than just a ride—it’s a global call to action.
