Indeed, a boot without laces is best on a motorcycle to avoid catching the lace around your foot peg when you put a foot down. However, laces allow for customised fit and ankle width adjustments. The laces are used to tighten or loosen your fit. And once set, your simple on and off is done with the inside ankle zipper. Yes, both options make for a perfect fit for ultimate ankle support. You can wear the Dalwood with any choice of riding pant whether you tuck your riding pant in like I do or wear your riding pant over the boot.
