For the first time in four years (and 19 teams!) since the BMW Motorrad GS trophy was introduced, there will be an all-women’s GS motorcycle team international for this the fifth challenge, 2016! Yes for the first time in the history of the GS Trophy women can meet the challenge and drive in their own international team.
Adventure, foreign cultures, new friendships, gravel, sand and dust make BMW Motorrad International GS Trophy an Enduro challenge that is second to none. International teams compete in intensive daily stages as well as numerous special challenges. This also applies to the international GS Trophy 2016, which will take place at the beginning of 2016 in the impressive landscape of Southeast Asia.
The women rider’s GS motorcycle qualifying will take place in South Africa under superb advice of South African native and enduro rider, Jo Rust. This will take place from the ninth to sixteenth of September 2015.
The closing date for applications is June 26th 2015.
How to Apply?
- Step 1: Fill in and send BMW MOTORRAD GS WOMENS TEAM .
- Step 2: Agree to some preliminary terms.
- Step 3: Follow up with a video about yourself and why you are the enduro woman rider to be part of the team.

Selection Process
BMW Motorrad will select ten women worldwide from all applications submitted. These ten women riders will be invited to the qualifying round in South Africa where a jury will assess riding performance, skilfulness and teamwork skills. The three standouts from the ten qualifying participants will then form the international woman GS motorcycling team, and fight for the victory at the international BMW Motorrad GS Trophy 2016.

The GS Trophy is an Enduro adventure that takes place every two years. In 2016, it is time to go for the fifth time already: 19 international teams compete in several daily stages and numerous special challenges in the most impressive landscapes of Southeast Asia.
As every year, the route is carefully matched with the geographical conditions of the visited region.
