By showcasing the IFRD icon, you signal to everyone the unity that transcends all cultures on this special day! IFRD stands as the world’s largest and sole event for women motorcycle riders and powersports enthusiasts, a harmonised global initiative driven by purpose and passion, breaking through borders and embracing diverse cultures!
Navigate Your Handlebars Toward Women’s Progress
For a decade and a half, IFRD has been casting a spotlight on women riders, powersports enthusiasts and female motor-sporters. Despite a doubling in female rider-ship over the past decade, women currently make up around 21-24 percent of all motorcycle owners, still falling short of even half the total motorsports population. The momentum generated on this designated day remains crucial for sustaining the ongoing progress in shaping the future of motorsport for women.
Maintaining Full Throttle Momentum
From a world economic view, findings from the recent World Economic Forum, concludes that gender parity will not be attained for almost a century. As of 2023, the global gender gap score is 68.4%, reflecting a slight advancement of 0.3 percentage points from the preceding year. With the present pace of development, the journey to complete gender parity is estimated to span 131 years, underscoring a notable deceleration in the overall rate of transformation.
In the realms of motorcycling, motorsport, and powersports, the ongoing efforts of IFRD are absolutely vital, and each one of us can actively contribute to this crucial mission!

Embrace Authenticity: You Are More Than Enough!
IFRD plays a pivotal role in challenging conventional stereotypes linked to motorcycling and, by extension, across all powersports. As a participant in IFRD, you become an influencer and a role model for women of all ages, inspiring those who have yet to venture into the world of motorcycling. It’s as straightforward as your involvement on that day. Your participation in IFRD showcases the diverse spectrum of women who relish the world of motorsports, proving that achievement is realised simply by your active engagement.

The actions taken during IFRD distinctly convey a message not only to the motorcycle and powersports industry but also, significantly, to the pursuit of gender parity in all facets of our daily lives. IFRD serves as a demonstration, persistently introducing women to the multifaceted aspects of these activities and fostering shared camaraderies.
“JUST RIDE!” – Flaunt Your IFRD Badge!
Crafted in 2007, the IFRD logo was meticulously designed to exude a timeless and distinctive appeal tailored for women riders. Over the years, it has undergone subtle evolution, deliberately left largely unchanged to preserve its iconic image. The logo symbolises the expansive reach of the IFRD campaign, featuring the Earth in its design. The “open face helmet” serves the purpose of visibly identifying a female face, and the intentional tilt of her head upward with a high chin signifies a perpetual search of the horizon, embodying an enduring open-mindedness and forward-thinking spirit, always seeking progress.
Welcoming Diversity: Embracing All Riding Styles!
Within the IFRD logo, diverse forms of motorcycles appear as small silhouettes, underscoring the inclusive nature of the event encompassing all facets of motorsport. This inclusivity extends to all manufacturers, styles, and sizes, welcoming everyone to join in and simply embrace the spirit of “JUST RIDE!”
