Triumph Motorcycles Partners With MSF Offering Free Introduction to Riding eCourse

Last Update: 28 October 2021

Triumph Motorcycles Partners with the MSF – American Motorcycle Safety Foundation – providing a FREE online basic eCourse for new riders or those interested in learning to ride.

The 3-hour learn to ride eCourse provides an introduction to riding in today’s motorcycling environment.  It’s a $20 value and is also a prerequisite for the standard  “hands-on” MSF Basic Rider Course.  In most states, successful completion of the MSF Basic RiderCourse allows students to obtain a motorcycle endorsement upon completion.

Central to the values of Triumph Motorcycles is a passion for riding. To share this passion, Triumph decided to partner with the MSF to make the MSF Basic eCourse available free of charge to prospective new riders, or former riders interested in riding again.

“Triumph Motorcycles has always been ‘For The Ride’, so this is a very fitting partnership to help share that passion. Now more than ever, people are looking for new forms of recreation, so I couldn’t think of a better time to help them discover the joy of riding,” said Rod Lopusnak, general manager of Triumph Motorcycles America.

“We’re excited to partner with Triumph and help people embark on their journey into motorcycling. The Motorcycle Safety Foundation believes in lifelong learning, and prospective riders will find the eCourse to be the best first step to becoming a lifelong rider,” said Erik Pritchard, president and CEO of the Motorcycle Safety Foundation.

More About The MSF Rider Training eCourse

This online course is a key component of the full hands-on Basic RiderCourse, but can also be completed as a stand-alone program without enrolling in a hands-on course. Graphics and videos illustrate the lessons to help you understand principles of motorcycling and determine whether motorcycling is right for you. The Basic eCourse alone is NOT accepted as a license waiver by any state’s DMV, or as a motorcycle license or learner’s permit. With Spanish language option.

To facilitate the offer, Triumph has launched the website TriumphRider.com, where prospective riders may complete a form to be emailed a unique promo code, which can be applied when they register on the MSF website to redeem the free Basic eCourse, compliments of Triumph.
