BMW Motorrad is going to complete its range of motorcycle helmets. A helmet particularly tailored to the special procurements of sporty ambitious motorcyclists – a BMW Motorrad race helmet.
During wind tunnel tests and test rides the helmet aptly named “Race” was developed for the special requirements of racing oriented riders.
Development of this helmet BMW Motorrad adopts new ways using the experiences of motorcycle racing.
BMW has equipped real racers in Europe with this helmet using the riders‘particular competences to use findings consequently in the further development of this helmet.
The Race helmet has been prioritized for safety, aerodynamics, wear comfort, visibility and ventilation. The market launch is scheduled for 2013.
