The FIM (Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme) together with its Women´s Commission (CFM), will continue developing Road Racing activities and will organise more camps for women with star instructors. The training camp is supported by the FIM, BMW Motorrad and implemented by the German company Bike Promotion.
The first training camp will run as part of the BMW Motorrad HP Race Camp (composed by 2 BMW Race Camp groups, 1 FIM Women’s training camp group). This was a practice done during our RaceGirl (MOTORESS former company name) events 14 years ago at TT circuit Assen and Zandvoort.
The Bike Promotion camp is dedicated to women competing or willing to compete in Road Racing. It will propose training activities, track sessions (timed) as well as non-sporting workshops (sponsoring, nutrition etc.). This training camp aims at detecting future Road Racing Champions.
The first 2014 camp will be organised at Spain’s Almeria circuit from 17 to 19 February. and includes three days of training, the use of a BMW S1000RR bike (encl. tires, fuel etc.) experienced road racing trainers, hotel accommodation (2 participants per double room), meals and transfers (airport – hotel – airport; hotel – track – hotel) for around EU1000,00. The package does not include participants’ travel expenses: participants will have to take care of this on their own.
All the other services are covered by the participation fee.
There will also be a EU1000,00 insurance deposit required up front in case of crash.
A license is required. A one event license will be available on site
