Welcome to the International Female Ride Day® Logo and Name Usage Guide. International Female Ride Day® (IFRD) has grown into a global movement that unites and inspires women riders worldwide. The IFRD logo and name are recognised symbols in motorcycling, motorsport, and powersports, representing the spirit of women who “Just Ride!” We encourage you to share and promote the movement using approved IFRD imagery — while helping protect the integrity of these brand assets.
This guide explains how to use the IFRD logo and name correctly, why that matters, and what to do if you’re unsure about a specific use.
IFRD ICON POWERED BY CONSISTENCY
International Female Ride Day® became a movement from its very first year in 2007 — and its strength has continued to grow thanks to many factors, especially one: a clear, consistent message. That consistency is essential to the purpose of IFRD and to the action at the heart of the day: JUST RIDE! It’s what helps unify and advance women’s riding culture worldwide through a single, shared, collaborative effort.
As the IFRD message has expanded, its impact has grown with it. That’s why this guide, this agreement exists: to ensure the IFRD name, text, and logo are used correctly and consistently, so the meaning behind them stays strong and the goals of International Female Ride Day remain clear and unaltered.
By supporting these guidelines, you help protect a unique, game-changing wave of momentum for women riders, female motorsport enthusiasts, and women in powersports — year after year.
Consistency is central to IFRD’s objectives, anchored by its enduring call to action: JUST RIDE! It serves as the unifying force, driving forward the convergence and advancement of women’s riding cultures through collaborative efforts.
CONSISTENCY: THE KEY TO MEANINGFUL GROWTH
Consistency is the driving force behind growth and lasting impact. Beyond the IFRD action, it’s a mission—deliberate, unwavering, and reinforced with every interaction. Every participant, contributor, and ally experiences this commitment first-hand.
Founder Vicki Gray has remained steadfast in guiding IFRD forward — expanding global awareness and strengthening trust and loyalty among women motorcycle riders worldwide. To protect the integrity of the movement, the IFRD name, logo, official date, and mission must remain clear, unchanged, and undiluted in all uses.
IFRD MOVEMENT & LOGO BRAND OWNERSHIP
International Female Ride Day® (IFRD) is the vision of Vicki Gray — its founder, creator, global manager, and designer of the IFRD name and artwork. It was created to unite and advance women riders worldwide.
You are encouraged to use IFRD materials to support this mission, joining the collective movement set in motion. All that’s asked in return is participation with purpose and respect. Use the IFRD branding proudly, joyfully, and always in alignment with the guidelines that protect its integrity.
Over the years, there have unfortunately been instances of misuse – misrepresentation of IFRD’s goals, unauthorised use of its logo, and misdirection of its campaign. These actions have led to disappointment and the necessary step of enforcing stricter oversight. Such misuse undermines IFRD’s united purpose and the positive impact it has worldwide.
Misuse is taken seriously. If you come across any discrepancies, please inform us.
The IFRD name, logo, and materials are shared in good faith to support the movement’s success. They exist to strengthen International Female Ride Day, uphold its mission, and advance women in motorcycling and powersports — ensuring the day continues to inspire and empower riders globally.
