This year, Helmet Ateliers Ruby Celebrates BMW Motorrad 90th Anniversary by presenting the exclusive Munich 90 Collection. This new range of luxury helmets pays homage to the world renowned Bavarian motorcycle manufacturer’s famous legacy.
Atelier Ruby, the French maker of exquisite helmets, includes three designs in three styles for the Munich 90 collection referencing the signature colours, blue and red stripes on a white background which have helped the German über brand leave its indelible mark on history. It celebrates the countless motorcycle enthusiasts and hours of international motorcycle racing that BMW Motorrad has inspired.
Three classic models fired the imagination of Ruby’s designer JÉROME COSTE.
The first is the timeless white double pinstripe on a sleek black background, or black on ivory. The second reflects the two tone paintwork of the R90S this design is also available in smoke silver or Daytona Orange for pure seventies nostalgia. The third employs the triple stripe motorsport scheme inspired by the famous victories of Hubert Auriol in the famed Paris Dakar Rally.
These five distinctive graphic signatures make up the Munich 90 Collection; all are available in Ruby’s Pavillon, Belvedere and Castel styles and are numbers as part of this limited edition release.
The helmets are made of lacquered carbon fibre shells and lamb leather lining. Pricing begins at $980. and up.
